This installation is a collaborative effort between us and GMBB Kuala Lumpur, a creative community mall in Bukit Bintang that aspires to be an enterprising hub for Malaysian creatives, artists, and artisans to collaborate and achieve more together.
The Half-Moon panel was inspired by an elaborately carved semi-circular stone slab that I discovered during my travel to Sri Lanka. Known in Sinhalese as Sandakada Pahana, provided the inspiration for ‘The Halfmoon's’ moon stone-like shapes.
Enhancing the overall spatial experience of the journey, which is a never-ending cycle of life and the pains of passion that people experience.
Location : GMBB Kuala Lumpur, No. 2, Jalan Robertson, Bukit Bintang, 50150 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
